Hi, I’m Emily, and I’m the People & Culture Lead here at Safewill. I’m currently building our People & Culture function from the ground up to support our mission of making end-of-life planning more accessible and affordable. I’m passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, empowered, and inspired to do their best work.

Before joining Safewill, I led talent acquisition initiatives at Immutable - another Australian start-up. I spearheaded large-scale projects and implemented advanced AI tools to optimise hiring processes and deliver exceptional candidate experiences. I’ve managed full-cycle recruitment for global senior leadership positions, developed data-driven hiring strategies, and trained hiring managers to ensure we’re bringing the best talent on board while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

When I'm not working, you'll find me running around with my two pups, Winston and Archie 🐾 and rummaging through record stores searching for hard-to-find LPs 🎶
