I am currently a Software Engineering Manager at Safewill with a passion for security & scalability, I have helped bring forward projects that advance the protection of users and to better serve customers at scale. My passions are in producing well thought out Solution Designs & then working with my team to implement them.

I'm currently putting time in to learning more about cloud architecture and how to make use of the many tools made available to developers to reinvent how solutions are designed; whilst doing this I have now achieved the AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification. As well as looking at new ways to design distributed systems such as Service Meshes & to produce applications that provide new ways to quickly deliver content like NextJS & Edge computing platforms.

I have had experience from working in solo projects or leading teams, and always up for prototyping new things, having even demonstrated chaincode on Hyperledger. I'm known for diving in to the places that others would consider too complex or difficult.

While not at work, you may find me flying, playing a board game or trying to avoid getting tanned under the Australian sun.
