This isn’t a traditional law firm environment. Safewill Legal operates as a tech-enabled, modern legal practice, working closely with Safewill’s product and operations teams to deliver probate and estate administration services in a faster, clearer and more client-friendly way.
The role
As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly while supporting the legal team and ensuring clients feel welcomed and cared for.
You’ll often be the first point of contact for clients, helping create a calm and professional experience while ensuring the team has the organisation and support they need to deliver excellent legal work.
This role is full-time and based in our Sydney CBD office.
What you’ll do
Client Experience & Reception
Welcome clients to the office and ensure a warm, professional front-of-house experience
Offer refreshments and maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
Triage inbound calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate team member
Manage meeting room bookings and assist with diary coordination
Prepare meeting rooms and support in-office client meetings
File & Document Administration
Manage safe custody files including opening, filing, retrieval and register maintenance
Scan, copy and organise documents to keep digital files structured and accessible
Assist with general file management and document preparation
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including arranging couriers
Collect and distribute post and ensure documents are properly logged
Provide general administrative support to lawyers and the broader legal team

An interest in building a career in estate planning and administration
